Join us for a brand new, ultimate “Taste of the Trails” experience on an e-mountain bike in the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains of Banff. This tour introduces you to some of the best mountain biking in Banff. We are the first and only certified mountain bike guides permitted in Banff National Park!
We offer guided e-mountain bike tours for all ages and abilities. This tour is suitable for beginner mountain bikers or intermediate riders looking for a fun, scenic tour of our favourite Banff mountain bike trails. You do need to be able to ride a bike to join this tour.
Your professional, certified guide will provide you with all the skills and thrills for an epic experience that will leave you grinning ear-to-ear.

Terrain will be within your ability!
What to bring for your e-mountain bike Tour:
- Photo ID for each adult (18+) for waiver verification
- A rainjacket – required!
- Flat soled shoes if you have them, runners will work!
- Full fingered gloves and protective eyewear (sunglasses or safety glasses)
- Helmets are mandatory and included in tour cost. Feel free to bring your own
- Dress in thin layers in order to be mobile and remove if necessary
- e-biking does not require as much effort as regular cycling, so layers are key!
- A backpack with water, snacks and room to store layers
Please note that safety is our first priority. If the guide thinks your attire or footwear isn’t appropriate and compromises your safety on the tour, you may not be able to participate. You must be able to ride a bike to join the tour.
Booking terms:
- The minimum age is 13 years
- All children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian
- You need the basic skills of bike riding to join the tour including getting on and off a bike, starting and stopping and peddling.
- All adults must sign a waiver, which will be sent through upon booking. A waiver must also be completed by the parent or legal guardian of any child under the age of 18 years.
- Photo ID may be required for identity verification.
- Please note that this tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to go ahead

How long is the tour?
The tour begins at 10:00 am and returns at no later than 12:15 pm. (2 hours total)

Your guide will contact you prior to your tour to advise of the meeting place.

You can park for free at the meeting spot!
What is eMountain Biking?
What is an electric mountain bike? Electric pedal assist mountain bikes, or e-MTBs, amplify the power you put into the bike while pedaling. When you stop pedaling, the motor stops assisting. You still have to earn your fun, but you get a better return on your energy investment. You will ride on a mix of pavement, gravel pathways and single track trails.
What equipment is provided?
A helmet & electric (pedal assist) mountain bike are provided.
Do I need to have experience mountain biking?
This tour is suitable for beginners. You should be comfortable riding some type of human-propelled, two-wheeled bicycle prior to taking this tour. E-mountain biking is most similar to mountain biking, but much less work!
What should I wear/bring?
Please be prepared for the mountain weather, it changes quickly. A raincoat is mandatory as you never know when to expect a shower.
To ensure that you enjoy the tour, please wear/bring:

Is the tour canceled if it is raining?
We ride in all weather conditions, that said, thunder and lightning are not safe nor fun. In this case, we will assess the morning of and make a plan to reschedule if need be.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice prior to departure to cancel or change a tour without penalty. Group bookings of 6 or more guests, as well as custom and private bookings, have a 7 day cancellation period.
Should I tip my guide?
Tips are not expected, but are certainly appreciated. If you think your guide did an exceptional job and would like to indicate that with a tip, it will be graciously accepted via cash or e-transfer (CAD) directly to your guide.
