Two hours of adventuring for both The Taste of the Trails and the Ultimate Intermediate Mountain E-bike Tours. Should you wish for a longer ride, book a privaye and add up to 2 hours to your experience.

For our Taste of the Trails and the Banff by ebike experience you will be whisked away from the busy-ness of the downtown core and escorted off the beaten path to our favourite "local's only, hidden gems". Iconic spots include the Fenland Loop towards the stunning backdrop of Vermillion Lakes, The Cave & Basin (our National Historic Site), The Fairmont Banff Springs, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and Central Park to name a few (Ya, we got you covered for ALL the local sights and ALL by bike!

For our Ultimate Intermediate Mountain eBike experience - We guide you on some of the best single track that Banff has to offer. Not to mention we are the ONLY guiding operation permitted on the Tunnel Mountain Network of trails. Stunning views of ALL our local mountains and ranges are visible throughout this experience.

Rest assured, we know ALL the best spots for instagram shots. We even take photos you and send them to you upon completion of your experience

Nope! We have partnered with Snowtips-Bactrax and Bear Street Outfitters (both on Bear Street) to meet our guests for experiences at their respected storefronts so that we can spend more time on the trail, less time in the office! Please give us a call or shoot us an email if you have any questions regarding our meeting points.

There is complimentary parking on the 2nd and 3rd floor at the parking garage on Bear Street right beside Nesters Market. Should that be full, you can pay for parking downtown or utilize the free parking lot at the Banff Transit Hub - just a short 5 minute walk to Bear Street

What is an electric bike? Electric pedal assist bikes, or ebikes, amplify the power you put into the bike while pedalling. When you stop pedaling, the motor stops assisting. You still have to earn your fun, but you get a better return on your energy investment. On our e-bike experiences, we take you on a mix of multi-use trails, gravel pathways and single track trails.

A helmet & electric (pedal assist) bike are provided.

Our Taste of the Trails tour is suitable for beginners. You should be comfortable riding some type of human-propelled, two-wheeled bicycle prior to partaking in this experience

Our Intermediate Mountain Bike experience is suitable for those very comfortable on a mountain bike or an equivalent type of human-propelled, two wheeled bicycle. For those who like some above average adventure on their vacation - this is the experience for you!

Please be prepared for the mountain weather, it changes quickly. A raincoat is mandatory as you never know when to expect a shower.

To ensure that you enjoy the tour, please wear/bring:

• A rain jacket - MANDATORY!
• Flat soled shoes if you have them, runners will work. 
• Full-fingered gloves and protective eyewear (sunglasses or safety glasses)
• Helmets are mandatory and included in tour cost. 
• Dress in thin layers in order to be mobile and remove if necessary
• A backpack with water, snacks and room to store layers
• Chamois (aka, padded shorts) but only if you have them

We ride in all weather conditions, that said, thunder and lightning are not safe nor fun. In this case, we will assess the morning of and make a plan to reschedule if need be. 

Bookings are guaranteed once payment has been received. Cancellations for daily tours occurring more than 7 days prior to the session start date are 100% refundable minus a 5% admin fee. Cancellations for tours occurring less than 7 days but more than 48 hours prior to the session start date and time are 50% refundable minus a 5% admin fee. Cancellations for tours occurring less than 48 hours prio the tour start are non-refundable.  Any cancellations based on weather conditions are at the sole discretion of Bikescape. If the tour is canceled by Bikescape, you will be issued a full refund of tour cost. Cancellation due to illness will be evaluated on a case by case basis. 

Gratuities are not expected, but are certainly appreciated. If you think your instructor did an exceptional job and would like to indicate that with a tip, it will be graciously accepted via cash or e-transfer (CAD) or paypal directly to your instructor.
