Introducing Coach Wayne! He has a lifelong passion for encouraging folks to become their best through active living.

Along with his PMBIA Level 1 and NCCP mountain biking certifications, he has taught for the Rundle Mountain Cycling Club in the Spring/Summer of 2019. He is also a ski instructor at Lake Louise, an AFLCA certified spin instructor and has lead a variety of day camps for the City of Calgary in the past.

As a born and raised Calgarian, Wayne has been very fortunate to call the Bow Valley his playground for all of his life. His love of mountain biking started when he bought his first Miyata MTB in 1988 and his bike count (currently 5) and his rides around the world (too many to count) have continued to grow. When Wayne is not teaching, he is leading his friends, kids and grandkids on numerous outdoor adventures.

Wayne’s motto is: “Life is better on a bike.” Let’s get riding!
